Something as simple as a flower.

Something as simple as a flower.

Don’t you think its funny how something that is seen as a “simple flower” is really an amazing piece of construction (for want of a better word).

While taking images on the weekend, a flower that just appeared in front of my house caught my eye.

This very stunning piece of creation has inspired me a little, or a lot. Life is so full of “things” and sometimes we look so much at the bigger picture that’s full of so many different “things” it all becomes a little confusing.

Sometimes we need to simplify things, enjoy those little “simple” things because they truly are more often than not the real treasures in life. With out all those individual little (or what we deem as little) things we would not be able to make up the big picture.

Often if you pause in your travels to the big picture you can see some amazing little things, a child’s laughter, the sent of a flower, the smile from a stranger just to name a few, enjoy these little things because when you do you will suddenly see the big picture.

There are so many photographers out there now days, not like it was 20 years ago, its a tuff environment to try and stay inspired in, yet this simple flower has given me new inspiration.

This has inspired me to photograph some images of “the little things” …those amazing, stunning little things that make up the big picture.

I challenge you, I challenge me to take notice and appreciate the little things because without them you don’t have the big things, you wont ever see the big picture!

Thanks for reading my dribble
